IIRC, Naoko Takeuchi actually copied Setsuna’s dress and assorted accoutrements in that illustration from a fashion shoot of Naomi Campbell in that dress, with that jewelry. And, yep, I recalled correctly! Check it. It’s a Chanel dress which Takeuchi liked and used as a reference, and which was later lent to the production of the 2009 Penelope Cruz film Broken Embraces.
